Borzoi [Russian Wolfhound]
The word "Borzoi" means "fast". It was the favorite hunting breed of the Russian aristocracy. This is a fine hand-painted porcelain figure from the Imperial Porcelain Factory Factory in St. Petersburg. Dimensions are 8" long by 4" high.

"Comfortable"
This is a resin casting with sharp relief from an original bronze that was marked "Cayraro, London, 1848". The mark is still apparent in the re-cast. It has a natural bronze patina and the bottom is fully covered by black felt bottom. This casting was made in the USA. 11"x5"x5".
