| The Fort Ross Chapel is the oldest Russian Orthodox Church still standing in the United States. During the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake the chapel collapsed, but was reassembled in 1917 and completely rebuilt in 1955. Today, the Fort Ross State Historic Park is a California state national park, near Jenner, CA on Highway One. It is a fully reconstructed Russian-American Company Settlement Fort, with a museum.
