Baba Yaga, the most famous of Russian villians, has a long foot, goes riding in a mortar, and chases people with her broom. She appears in many classic Russian fairy tales. Here she's portrayed, along with a cresent moon, several ravens and a bright-eyed owl, by early 20th century illustrator and stage designer Ivan Bilibin. Among his many achievements were participating in Mir Iskusstva and contributing to the Ballets Russes. This is a masterpiece replica, painted by P.P. Vovk, of Rostov-on-the-Don, Russia. The unique wall piece has 3 pegs, and is about 18 inches long.
