Russians love to surround themselves with colorfully painted objects, even those that are for utility, like this tray with a bright, bursting bouquet of flowers. It's a very fine example of Russian tole-painting from the world renown village of Zhostovo (near Moscow). The tray measures 14x21 inches. It's gently used and in very good condition (see photographs for detail). Marked "Made in USSR".
