Viatka "Uzor" Northern Maidens. "Uzor" is a Russian word that means "patterned weaving" and the hand-painted flowers on this traditional doll have some wonderful patterns in traditional colors of red, green and yellow. Viatka "Northern" Maidens came from the city of Viatka, formerly Kirov, in the Kirov oblast, or province. These were made in the Kirov Factory in the mid-1980s. They will have either a "USSR" sticker or "USSR" purple stamp on the bottoms of the first doll.

7 nest, 6" to 1 1/2".
