      Viatka "Uzor" Northern Maidens. "Uzor" is a Russian word that means "patterned weaving" and the hand-painted flowers on this traditional doll have some wonderful patterns in traditional colors of red, green and yellow. Viatka "Northern" Maidens came from the city of Viatka, formerly Kirov, in the Kirov oblast, or province. These were made in the Kirov Factory in the late 1980s. Russian language descriptiive paper tag included.


11 nested doll is 6" tall and finishes with a doll the size of a piece of rice.

Condition note: three hairline production splits on top of 1st doll which don't detract from the overall appearance. See the picture at the furthest right.
