Tea Service for Six. An elegant paste porcelain tea service banded with cobalt and gold.
The form of the pieces is "Radial", also known as "Sunbeam". Comes with
six large cups and saucers for tea, a teapot, a milk or cream jug, a
lidded sugar bowl, six dessert plates and six small jam plates. 27
pieces in all. Verbilki, located directly north of Moscow, is
an old production center for porcelain, founded in 1754 by F. Gardner.
Teapot is 5 1/2"x 7", sugar bowl 5", creamer is 4", tea cups
are 3 1/2" in diameter, dessert plates are 6" in diameter and jam plates
are 4" in diameter. Mid-1990s. [#VRB-St1] 1 set only.
