"The Merchant Family"
A limited-edition series produced by the Alexandra Company in Moscow. The Merchant Family is the creation of well-known Russian doll designer, Alexandra Koukinova. The dolls are produced from three separate molds and are made of hand-painted porcelain. The life-like porcelain faces, hands and boots appear as if real. The exquisitely-detailed 17th century period costume is hand sewn using genuine fur trim and dyed wool.
