Victor Otiev.

Victor A. Otiev was born in 1935 in Vladikavkaz, mid-way between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea. By the age of 15 he was accepted by the art academy residing next to the Repin Academy of Art in St. Petersburg. After 5 years he then studied at the Repin Academy where he spent 6 years of study. Otiev's work was first exhibited in 1956. His work is housed in several museums in Russia, one being the Russian Museum in St. Petersburg. Otiev's paintings can be found in private collections in France, Belgium, Cuba, Mexico, Japan, USA, Israel, Germany, Holland and Sweden.
