Photographer to the Magazine Industry:
Maison Russe has a very large transitional cultural collection of Russian art items. Transitional because the change from communism to today's political climate in Russia is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Russia will become very western soon (it already is to some degree), but forces such as artists, or sensitive souls who reside in the church, will rebel against westernism and want older images, many such as those we currently own or can make. We have a veritable museum of images waiting to be selected for print. Throughout our 35 years in business we have on many occasions provided exceptional, custom photographs of items in our collection to a variety of magazine publishers, including Conde Nast for publication in Vogue Magazine - specifically, the October 2006 issue of Vogue Latin America; Vogue, May 2007; and just recently, we made photographs of Russian folk art for their November 2007 issue. We have provided fine, unique Russian art for CN's Lucky Magazine (November 2005) and Disney's Wondertime Magazine (December 2007). As you write your next article on Russia or Russian art, browse our website for ideas. Need 300 dpi images? We can make them. Web images? Not a problem. We've already impressed the designers at Vogue and Disney - let us impress you! |
