This elegant porcelain jewelry box has illustrations based on the artwork of Pavel Tikhomirov, who was born in Russia in 1951. He began his career in the village of Kholui, one of the reknown Russian Lacquer Miniature Painting centers. For a time, he was employed by Lucy Maxym as a designer for her porcelain plates and boxes.
