Budget Tea Glass Inserts
     We get many requests from people asking for replacement glasses for their Podstakanniki, aka, Russian Tea Glass Holders. In reply, we explain that standard tea glass inserts from Russia have always been difficult to come by, due to the unusual size and circumference requirements, and, when found, can be expensive. We recently spent several months searching for a suitable, readily available and domestically produced replacement glass. We sorted through dozens of styles, shapes and sizes, but hardly anything worked. The glass we finally found fits most holders with a full-rimmed bottom*( See below). It stands 3⅜ inches tall. The top diameter is 2.75 inches. It tapers down to a diameter of 2.25 inches at the bottom. Holds 7oz. of your favorite tea. Heavy glass made in US.
