"Rose" Russian filigree boxes were made by hand and not a machine. This elegant round box is an outstanding example of filigree design and craftmanship as perfected during the days of Catherine the Great. The pattern is reminiscent of bobbin-lace, decorated throughout with tiny seed pearls and dipped in near pure (99.9%) silver. Hand-crafted in Kazakavo, near Nihzny Novgorod (formerly the city of Gorky). 4" x 1 1/4". Comes in its own (retro Soviet-style) custom-fitted box. A beautiful compliment to our Anna , Petrograd, or Sunshine silver filigree teaglass holders. [#RBx-1] A $75 value. Special! (Click on pictures below for more views.)
