This handsome, hand enameled Russian salt cellar is an elegant serving piece that easily replaces the salt shaker. It even has its own little spoon! The quality of the enamel is such that, even though it was made in the late 20th century, it is constantly confused and offered up for sale as a 100 year old antique. Today people with sophisticated taste are getting away from traditional table salt with its anti-caking additives and other non-traditional ingredients and are discovering the pleasures of gourmet salts, such as French grey sea salt, Hawaiian red salt, Black salt, Flaky salt, Himalayan salt and others. Look closely and you can see an elegant and dainty blue and silver floral design. Each cellar comes with its own tiny fitted glass bowl. Enamel, silver plate, brass and gold plate.
